Add and edit text

Add custom text to your designs, or use text templates:

1. Create or open an existing design.
2. Click the Text tab from the side panel.
3. Click Add a heading, Add a subheading, or Add a little bit of body text. You can also click a Typography to use.
4. Double click on the text box added to your design to edit the text.
5. Click outside the text box to finish.

Click Duplicate from the context menu ( select text box → right click to show context menu ) to duplicate a selected text box, or click the Trash icon to delete it.

Rotate and resize

Flip layers

Create or open an existing design, and refer below for flipping layers:

1. Click to select the layers you want to flip.
2. Right click to show context menu.
3. Select Reflect Horizontal to flip it right side left, or Reflect Vertical to flip it upside down

Layer, group, and align layers

Create or open an existing design, and refer below to layer, group, or position your design layer s:

Layer

Arrange which layer sits on top of which:

1. Click to select the layer  you want to move.
2. Right Click to show context menu.
3. Choose Bring Forward to move it up one layer, or Send To Back to move it down one layer.

Group and ungroup

Group layers to move or lock them together:

1. Click and drag your cursor over the layers you want to group. You can also hold Shift on your keyboard, and click on multiple layers to select them.
2. Click Group from the toolbar above the editor. You can also use CMD+G (Mac) or CTRL+G (Windows) on your keyboard.
3. To ungroup, click to select the group, and click Ungroup from the toolbar above the editor. You can also use CTRL+Shift+G (Windows) on your keyboard.

Align or position

Align layers relative to the design page:

1. Click to select the layer you want to align.
2. Click Layer Position from the toolbar above the editor.
3. Choose a position to apply it to the selected select .

Apply image shapes

Apply shapes to your images in a few clicks:

1. Create or open an existing design.
2. Select the photo you want to edit.
3. Click Create clipping mask from the editor toolbar.
4. Choose the shape you want in the dropdown to apply to your image.

Upload requirements

Make sure your files meet the upload requirements to use them in your NBDesigner designs.

Only upload content that you own and are licensed to use.

JPEG and PNG images

• Under 10MB in size
• Not more than 100 million total pixels (width x height)

SVG images

• Under 1MB in size
• Saved with an SVG Profile of “SVG 1.1”
• Expand all strokes, paths, and text boxes (Select your artwork > Object > Expand)
• Group shapes with the same color together
• Avoid using textures and gradients
• Fit the artwork within the artboard (Object > Artboards > Fit to Selected Art)
• Remove unnecessary layers, stray anchor points, and invisible objects
• If you’re using Adobe Illustrator to create your SVG file, make sure to change the CSS Properties to Presentation Attributes before saving.

Save for later

You can save the design for next using: chose File → Save for later in main menu.

Download your designs in a range of file types, such as PDF, PNG, JPEG and SVG.

1. Click the File on the main menu.
2. Select Download.
3. Click the dropdown to choose a file type.

The design will be saved to your device’s assigned download folder.

You can undo and redo changes made to your design in the editor.

1. To undo a change, click the arrow pointing to the left in the toolbar.
2. To redo a change, click the arrow pointing to the right.

Tip: Press CMD+Z (Mac) or CTRL+Z (Windows) on your keyboard to undo, and CMD + Y (Mac) or CTRL + Y (Windows) to redo.
